- Which is why it's taking so long, the systems are being upgraded.
- Rogers is not offering it to the greater Toronto area unless it's 2
- way, the Newmarket trial (which is near Toronto) is currently two way.
- The good thing about it is that it's 39.95 a month for unlimited time.
- That may not sound incredibly cheap, but I'm on the cheapest service
- here (Canadian funds) at 22.50 a month for 90 hours- and I usually pay
- over $25. When you factor in that the cable company lends you the LAN
- card and the cable modem as part of the rate for free, it works out

- As I, and likely most of us connect to a local provider to access the
- net, long distance usually doesn't come into play. Since me provider
- has all 28.8 modems however and not 33.6, the decision was easy.
